Searching closer to home..................

infact,-searching through the barn I found this I'd forgotten about......................................and its' original contents.................


a gorgeous old shabby sewing box with antique lace pieces which we will be listing very soon.There's always something we've forgotten about, to draw on when the wet weather stops play. It doesn't look like we'll be going far this weekend in search of treasures new...but you never know!......................................................................

Nice weather for ducks....................

The weather this week has only been perfect for our flock of  feathered friends on the farm whom we are looking after whilst their guardians have gone back to the UK for a few days.........roll on the weekend & hopefully better weather ahead for Sunday so we can trek around the Brocantes in sandals instead of wellies!!

"You have to MAKE time".......all these familiar sayings  are certainly an excuse we all use at some time or another,but we finally decided to MAKE time and begin our Blog today...........we will take you with us on our Journey of Discovery into France and our life & work here........our customers can see where we go on our endless trecking around the village Brocantes  seeking out Antiques and Shabby-chic treasures in ALL weathers to send all over the World.....a little bit of France, for those not as lucky as we are to live here........Enjoy!
