WELL who'd have ever thought it? We found a stunning & very rare Art-Deco Compact quite a few weeks ago now,-a once in a lifetime find........or so we thought at the time.Her stunning face & design adorns our first ever blog below & she created quite a stir at the time.....but this morning, at a local Brocante we had visited early doors because of the heatwave forecast, I was peering into a sellers' cabinet, admiring something completely different when out of the corner of my eye-I spotted her AGAIN! This time in a different colourway...wow! WHAT are the chances of that!! She contains some of the original contents & it is so interesting to imagine perhaps a pretty young French woman applying the powdered Rouge to her cheeks all those years ago from this exquisite little item................soon to be listed!
